Alexandra Wright
Lawyer, business owner, farmer, and mother. Meet Alexandra and learn about the experience she brings to public service.
Rooted in Ellison. Experienced in law and business.
Alexandra is a first-generation Canadian. She earned her BA in Anthropology from the University of Calgary and her Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law. After practising law for several years, she returned to Canada and built a career as a legal advisor in the energy sector.
In 2013, Alexandra and her husband, John, incorporated a full-service supply chain consulting firm. They have grown their business while raising their daughter and running their family farm in Ellison. Her community involvement has included campaigns against unlawful dumping, efforts to protect waterways, and advocacy concerning development in the Okanagan Valley.
